Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
As a General Farm Worker at Beanhaven Family Farm Ltd., your daily tasks will include:
- Applying hoeing techniques to maintain crop rows.
- Clearing fields of wood, stones, and debris.
- Grading vegetables and fruits based on size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
- Hand-harvesting vegetables with precision and care.
- Packing fruits and vegetables for distribution.
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops to promote healthy growth.
- Examining products to ensure they meet quality standards and are market-ready.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
Experience with farm machinery, such as tractors, vegetable harvesters, and planting equipment, will be beneficial. However, training may be provided for motivated individuals eager to learn.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
This position is physically intensive and requires:
- Performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Handling heavy loads and working under tight deadlines.
- Standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
- A keen eye for detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish colors and sounds.
