About the Role
We are seeking a D365 F&O Retail Functional Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of large Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce projects. As part of your responsibilities, you will work closely with clients and team members, using your expertise to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities
As a D365 F&O Retail Functional Consultant, you will take on the following core responsibilities:
- Project Implementation: Plan, configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions for our clients, ensuring smooth integration into their existing systems.
- Business Process Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of business processes and D365 Commerce to create effective and efficient solutions that address client needs.
- Documentation Creation: Develop comprehensive business process walkthroughs, functional requirements documents and functional design documents for the functionality required within the project’s scope.
- Client and Development Team Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the development and quality engineering teams, ensuring clarity and quick resolution of any queries that may arise during the project.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Conduct user acceptance testing of the system’s functional requirements, validating the accuracy and functionality of the implemented business processes.
- Project Workflow Management: Be actively involved in the setup and execution of project workflows, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs, providing timely updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Planning and Prioritization: Develop and maintain project plans, prioritizing tasks based on client requirements and project timelines.
- Team Collaboration: Act as a proactive contributor to team discussions, sharing your expertise and helping drive the project toward successful completion.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for the role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience as a Functional Consultant specializing in Dynamics 365 or Dynamics AX within the Retail module.
- A minimum of 3 years of focused expertise in Dynamics 365 Commerce.
- Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of D365 Commerce or AX 2012 Retail projects.

Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the Retail/Commerce and e-Commerce industries, along with knowledge of how value flows within ERP systems.
- Experience working within these sectors is essential for success in this role.

Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with retail setups, including store migrations, new store setups and code/fix pushes to MPOS and CPOS.
- Configuration and troubleshooting skills for POS hardware and software setups, including printers, customer displays, scanners and hardware stations.

Project and Client Management:
- Strong client interaction skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, requirements and risks while ensuring timely project completion.
- Experience identifying potential risks, issues and challenges, along with planning solutions to mitigate or resolve them.

Domain Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) domains and general retail industry knowledge is an advantage.

Testing and Documentation:
- Experience creating test artifacts and conducting functional testing to ensure deployed modules meet requirements.
- Capable of developing end-user documentation and planning user onboarding processes.

Post-Implementation Support:
- Responsible for providing hyper-care support to clients after project go-live, ensuring a smooth transition into regular operations.

Global Teamwork: You will work with a global team, guiding and assisting them in issue resolution when necessary.
Additional Qualifications and Knowledge:
In addition to the required qualifications, the following skills and certifications are highly desirable:

Azure Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its role in cloud-based solutions.

Integration Experience: Understanding of how D365 Commerce integrates with other ERP and business systems.
